Inquiry Report — Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 6, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how AntRun Automation LLC ("AntRun," "we," "us") collects, uses, and retains information in connection with the Inquiry Report WordPress plugin and backend service (the "Service").
1. Two kinds of data, two roles
This policy covers two categories of information, and AntRun's role is different for each:
- Account Data — information about you, the person or business that signs up for Inquiry Report (name, email, WordPress site URL, plan, billing details). For this data, AntRun acts as the data controller.
- Inquiry Data — the content of contact-form submissions from your website's visitors ("End Users") that the plugin sends to our backend in order to generate your reports. For this data, you (the Customer) are the data controller, and AntRun acts only as a data processor / service provider, processing it solely to provide the Service to you and on your instructions.
2. Information We Collect
| Category | Examples | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Account Data | Name, email address, WordPress site URL, API key, plan and usage information | You, when you install the plugin and create an account |
| Billing Data | Subscription status, plan, payment method metadata | Stripe (we do not store full card numbers) |
| Inquiry Data | Whatever fields your contact form collects — typically name, email, message, and similar fields your End Users submit | Your website's contact form, sent to us by the plugin |
3. How We Use Information
- To operate the Service: receive, store, and summarize Inquiry Data to generate your scheduled reports;
- To generate report summaries, Inquiry Data is sent to a third-party AI provider (OpenAI) for automated text summarization;
- To deliver reports and account notifications by email;
- To process payments and manage subscriptions;
- To provide customer support; and
- To maintain the security and integrity of the Service.
We do not use Inquiry Data for advertising, and we do not sell Inquiry Data or Account Data to third parties.
4. Data Retention
Inquiry Data is retained for 90 days from the date it is received by our backend, after which it is automatically and permanently deleted. Report emails already sent to you are not affected by this deletion. Account Data is retained for as long as your account remains active, and for a limited period afterward as needed for legal, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
If you cancel your account, you may request early deletion of your Account Data by emailing support@antrun.com.
5. Third-Party Subprocessors
We share information with the following categories of service providers, solely as needed to operate the Service:
| Provider | Purpose | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Payment processing & billing | Billing Data |
| Render | Application hosting | Account Data, Inquiry Data |
| Neon | Database storage | Account Data, Inquiry Data |
| Resend | Transactional email delivery (reports, notifications) | Account Data, report content |
| OpenAI | AI-based summarization of report content | Inquiry Data |
Each provider is contractually restricted from using this information for any purpose other than providing services to us.
6. Your Role as Controller of Inquiry Data
Because you control what your contact form collects and how it's presented to your End Users, you are responsible for providing your End Users with any privacy notices and obtaining any consents required by law, including disclosing that submissions are processed by a third-party service provider (AntRun) to generate reports. If an End User contacts us directly about their data, we will refer them to you as the controller, and will assist you in responding to verified requests to access or delete their Inquiry Data.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information in our custody, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International Data Transfers
Our service providers may process and store data in the United States and other countries. By using the Service, you acknowledge that information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions with different data protection laws than your own.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for business use and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Service.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
